foundry commercial
Foundry Commercial is a commercial real estate business that I had the fortunate opportunity to work with during my internship at Social Design House. Foundry requested SDH to reimagine their entire website as it was in need of an upgrade. Through the design direction from Ben Visser, the creative director, we were able to undergo a modern approach. Within this project, I was lucky to learn about: Branding; Figma; WordPress; Iconography; and Copywriting.
tasks
I was primarily Mr. Visser’s supporting designer, as I would take-on several tasks; for my portfolio entry, I wanted to highlight one of the main tasks I was in charge- of which was iconography. Through the collaboration from Ben Visser, Creative Director, and Adam Phillips, Director of Content and Strategy, I was tasked to design several icons that best depicts the different kind of real estates Foundry had to offer.

thank you
I want to quickly thank the Social Design House family for giving me a unique and wonderful opportunity to join their team as an intern and work with them. Through Foundry, I was able to learn a lot about WordPress and its capabilities as the developers were working on them. When we were building the Foundry website’s block-by-block, I was given the chance to put together the “Lego” pieces that the developers replicated from the Figma page and fill them up with content. I very much enjoyed working with Front End Developer, Ethan Walker, Ben Visser, and Adam Phillips on developing the Foundry Commercial that is still up today.
